Behind the Name

Hi, I’m Rasheda, the founder of Kaiyani Esthetics.

Before Kaiyani Esthetics became a business, it started as a personal journey. Back in 2017, I became deeply focused on skincare and gut health while trying to reduce the appearance of my own acne. I became obsessed with understanding how skin works and how our overall health can affect how we feel about ourselves.

 

Right before the pandemic, I joined the Army. where I developed a strong appreciation for discipline, sanitation, safety, and professionalism. Those experiences opened my eyes to how misuse of authority, lack of care, and domestic violence can deeply impact people’s lives. Because of that, creating a safe, respectful, and comforting environment means everything to me.

In 2023, I graduated from Aveda Institute of Arts and Sciences and began working in the medical spa industry before eventually going solo to create Kaiyani Esthetics. Working in a med spa helped me grow my knowledge, confidence, and love for results-driven skincare.

As a single mom, building this business has meant building a future not only for myself, but for my son too. He is truly the better part of me and my biggest motivation. Everything I do is rooted in creating a life he can be proud of and a space where people from all walks of life can feel cared for, seen, and confident in their skin.
